First Bauhaus store in the Nederlands
For the first Bauhaus store in the Netherlands, Brink Staalbouw supplied the complete steel structure. The retail building was constructed in 2015 in Groningen, commissioned by Systabo. The steel structure was delivered with a white powder-coated finish, matching the bright and open character of the design.
Bauhaus Groningen consists of a 5,000 m² drive-in area, a 10,000 m² retail store, and a 5,000 m² garden center. With large spans, high spaces, and an efficient column layout, the building offers flexible use and reflects the typical Bauhaus concept: spacious, clear, and designed for both professionals and DIY customers.
With this project, we contributed to the introduction of this international retail formula in the Netherlands.
