New Alfen Campus Almere
For the construction of the new Alfen Campus at the De Vaart industrial park in Almere, Brink Staalbouw supplied and installed the complete steel structure. We began erection work in April 2023, assembling approximately 1,250 tons of steel. The Alfen Campus serves as the new headquarters and central production and logistics facility for Alfen, a leading provider of smart energy solutions such as EV chargers, energy storage systems, and transformer stations.
The campus was developed by GARBE Industrial Real Estate Netherlands and built by De Vries en Verburg. The architectural design was created by Bessels architecten & ingenieurs, with structural engineering by Van der Weide Van Bragt. The facility encompasses roughly 24,000 m² of production, warehouse, and office space and is designed to support Alfen’s continuing growth.
We delivered a robust and flexible steel structure with large spans and high internal spaces suitable for advanced production equipment. Early alignment with the project partners enabled efficient engineering, logistics, and installation. Thanks to extensive prefabrication, the erection process on site was smooth, predictable, and safe.
The Alfen Campus is strategically located at the De Vaart industrial park in Almere, offering excellent accessibility and a modern business environment. The building has been developed with strong attention to sustainability, long-term adaptability, and a healthy work environment. In 2024, the new campus was officially put into operation.
With this project, we contributed to a modern, sustainable, and future-ready facility where Alfen can continue to develop and produce its innovative energy technologies.
